There are several available in Australia, all with differing benefits and costs.


Some more popular ones are Pet Insurance, RSPCA pet insurance, and you can also get pet insurance tacked onto your home and contents insurance with RACQ/V (given that you are in Victoria, I'd check this one first)





The only real way to work out which is best for you is to get a copy of the policies from the more popular/better ones out there and decide what it is you want from it, and how much you can reasonably afford to pay.

You really need to do your research before you buy- just a warning%26gt;%26gt; most pet insurance will not pay out for things that are genetic diseases- e.g my dog has Luxating patella (his knee caps keep popping out) he needs an operation but pet insurance wont cover the operation because its a genetic disease. So just make sure you are getting your money's worth.
