Can anyone give me any advise?

i have a 1.5 hp compressor, and the problem i am getting is,my compressor is not throwing any grit out of the sand blast gun,can anyone please tell me what the problem is thank youCan anyone give me any advise?
sounds like the compressor is fine then and its the gun itsself. maby the gun is cloged. check it for clogs from wherever sand is stored to the gunCan anyone give me any advise?
hiya, try something else on the line,if this works ok,its the gun, with these guns, theres a needle valve, normally at the rear,be care full, disconect the airline first, remove the valve, chances are,its blocked, clean, and clear, ideally, you need a airline to blow the gun out with,HOPE THIS HELPS
Besides what Scott W mentioned (which makes perfect sense), you could check that the compressor tank is holding pressure and make sure the safety valve has not stuck partly open. I don't know how many psi you need for your sand blaster to work but I would guess it's pretty high, so if the tank is not holding enough pressure then it won't throw the grit (especially if the gun is partly clogged).
its the gun its self
spell advice right, joking, no i dont know what the problem is.
Is it possible that the gun has a blockage? Sometimes the sand get damp and blocks it up.

Has it ever worked in the past? A 1.5hp compressor may be to small to do blasting properly, typically manufacturers quote displacement figures for the amount of compressed air that the compressor will put out however the correct figure will be quoted in free air delivered and will always be smaller than the displacement figure.

To get a small blaster working I would expect a compressor to be at least a 5hp unit.
If it's from BQ or ARGOS best buy a new one DID U KNOW things u buy have a life expectancy if the gaurantee runs out and it breaks down before the life expectancy has passsed u may be entitled to a replacement !! check it out.
