What kind of fish are they? There are medicines for different kinds of fish.
Try to find medicines that you can use for your type of fish that can treat both diseases. Or find two different medicines that you can use, one for ich and one for tailrot together. Make sure they can be used together.
If you live in the United States I know Mardel makes CopperSafe for ich and Maracyn-Two, Tetracycline, TriSulfa, or Maracyn-Plus for fin and tail rot. CopperSafe can be used with one of the others. Don't use all of the other with CopperSafe..
They are for tropical fish. They may not be right for goldfish. I learned that Melafix for example, which can be used for tailrot for tropical fish can kill a betta.
Raise the temperature in your tank for ich. It should be about 75 degrees Farenheit for tropical fish. Since it has ich raise the temperature to 82.
How big is your tank, what kind of fish do you have and how many fish? One reason that fish can get tailrot is if the tank is over crowded and the water quality is poor.
Depending on the size of your tank, how big the fish are and how many fish you have, you need to do a water change every one to four weeks by siphoning out the tank. For tropical freshwater fish change take out 20% of the water. Put a water siphoner in the gravel and siphon out the tank.
How long have you had your tank? This website has info. you should know about the nitrogen cycle (beneficial bacterial growth) and the # of fish you can keep in a tank. The nitrogen cycle is important for you to know if your tank is new and you don't know about it.

Where ever you live and whatever you get read the directions on the back of the medicine package for important information. Some medicines like CopperSafe harm plants and snails for example. Other fish medicines can be harmful to small fish, scaleless fish, etc. and may not be right for whatever is inside your tank.
Next time you have trouble with a disease call a pet store to ask someone because the sooner you treat a disease the better because for fish it could be too late.
I would try to treat the fish for both since they have ich and raising the temperature and medicine can cure ich. If no medicine is suitable for any living things in your tank consider using a hospital tank like a goldfish bowl to remove the fish that need medicine or to keep any living things in there that may be harmed by the treatment of the medicine you use int he tank.
If your going to use a hospital tank email me. I have some helpful information I can give you about it.
