Where can I get step by step instruction to repair a jacket zip. Can someone advise.?

Depends on which bit has broken


If it's the slidey-up-and-down bit(sorry, brain won't work today! Technical name escapes me!) then you can get replacements

If its on the teeth part then you will have to replace the whole zip


Instruction to do that will depend on whether the jacket is lined or not and how the front is constructed

Just take it to a seamstress and have the zipper replaced. They are not repairable. Costs about $10-15.
