Can anyone advise me about my daughters cramp?

please can anyone help with this? my 12 year old is getting cramp in her toes on and off all day, you can actually see her toes going into a strange shape, the g.p says she is healthy and fit, and she is. I hope this is enough info and someone can help me, many thanks to you all xCan anyone advise me about my daughters cramp?
I'd consider seeing another doctor who will do some more thorough testing. Might be a deficiency of some mineral. I would look at increasing levels of potassium, calcium, and particularly magnesium (banana's are good source). Some articles see link to type II diabetes, so rule it out. Also, from personal experience, I would look at reducing saturated fats. Eliminate fatty fast foods, particularly french fries. Instead eat lean proteins like chicken, turkey, fish (NOT fried), and lean beef and pork.

Here's an article I found that discusses other ideas. Good Luck!

She may low on dietary magnesium. A magnesium/calcium supplement often helps cramps.
I have had this same problem - two things helped me with it:

1) Bananas

2) Drink lots of water
