Having bank loan problems and need some advise please.?

Applied for a loan with our local bank for home repair. They approved the loan, we paid money down and started the work. The inspector came out and said that the papers couldn't be signed until the work was done. Spent money to complete. Went back to the bank upon completion after signing papers previously and they re-ran credit and changed their minds!!! What can I do! We now need the money to pay the bill! How can the bank get away with this?Having bank loan problems and need some advise please.?

Take it up with the bank manager. If that doesnt work, go one higher. If you have to, find their corporate office, get someone on the phone and pour your heart out to them. Someone is bound to realize the situation they put you in and do the right thing. Document and record ALL conversations and see if you catch them in lies.





If they still refuse, file a complaint with the states attorney generals office. Its free, online, and quick. (at least in michigan) Just try to state your case as best and concisely as you can because from what Ive seen its hit or miss. They WILL slam that place with paperwork and questions and if you have a case, they will solve it for you with no legal fees. Its been a couple years ago since mine and they never got back to me so im assuming i didnt have a case.





I had this loan place renig on paying me for insurance claiming I never signed up for it. The guy admitted over the phone that he simply forgot to checkmark the box and that it was his fault. His manager though decided to stiff us. I wish I could have that conversation on tape admitting they were wrong because when it comes down to formal complaints they will never admit they were wrong. And if its just your word against their word theyre not going to rule against a business.
