C# or xml which to learn first, kindly advise?

I know both are very important languages and very much in demand, If you had to choose between learning between these which would you learn first.

First of all, these two are two completely different principles.


C# is a programming language as XML is a markup language.





XML doesn't really require much research, it's basically an easy-to-process way of storing data into a text file. You define most of it yourself.





C# however is a complete programming language, which does require some learning. When using C# you will also learn about the Microsoft .NET framework.





So honestly, if you're looking for programming.. It's time for C#, but please do some research first. Wikipedia is always a decent start.
