My cat is sick; can you please advise.?

My cat disappeared for a complete day. I think he was kidnapped. When he came back (after 10 PM), he was really nervous and frighten. After that day, he has been vomiting a lot and today he has got sort of a diarrhea and it looks like he is hurting when he is in his litter box. I will take him to the vet tomorrow, but, can anybody help tonight.My cat is sick; can you please advise.?
Do not let your cat eat or drink anything until you take them to the vet. Furthermore, there are 24 hour ER vets everywhere. Take him TONIGHT. He may have eaten something to make him sick... especially if a neighbor poisoned him (happened to someone I know... cat ate antifreeze in milk b/c the neighbor didn't want her in their yard).





TAKE THE CAT IN TONIGHT. Vomiting could have POSSIBLY happened if the cat was in a fight %26amp; a nervous wreck (although that's stretching it a bit)... the diarrhea is what has me concerned. Be especially wary if there's blood in either one.My cat is sick; can you please advise.?
Take to a ER vet. My roommates cat recently fell sick and she wouldn't let it out - of course and made sure it had plenty of liquids. She let it sleep with her (wich is unusual) until she could take it to the vet.
You should take him to an emergency clinic tonight if possible.


Check the yellow pages. I'm afraid he will be extremely dehydrated by morning if he survives through the night. He might have gotten hit by a car and have internal injuries. Or he may have been poisoned. Getting him to the vet now would be highly recommended. One time my cat got hit by a car and I didn't have the money to pay a vet. I knew it was bad, so I took him to the emergency clinic and told them that I found him in front of my house. I didn't tell them I was the owner. They put him to sleep for free. If I would have told them that he belonged to me, I would have been charged. It sounds bad, but I really didn't have any money and I didn't want him to suffer.

Take him off food and limit his water. If there is any internal injuries it will be better if he hasn't had any food when the vet sees him, in case he needs surgery. He may have been hit by a car or mauled by a dog with no outward signs. Keep him as quiet as possible and try to contain him in a room or in a carrier, if possible.

It sounds like urinery tract infection. Male cats must eat cat food low in ash. Their urinary track is different than females. Theirs goes up, and female go down. They need cat food that is marked urinary track food. I hope you get him there in time, this can cause death. As for him disappearing, cats do that when they are sick. Good luck with your cat.
take him to the emergency vet right now. he might have ate something toxic in the neighborhood. oh and if he was kidnapped, he wouldn't have come back home. Duh!
Cats will hide when they are not feeling well, so this may explain his disappearance. My cat once had a urinary tract infection that caused him much pain when he tried to use his litter box. He would awkwardly squat and would let out a horrible howl when trying to do his business, but nothing would come out. We took him to a 24 hour emergency animal hospital as we read on the internet that, for lack of a better description, cat constipation can be very dangerous if it goes on too long. The vet was able to give the cat something that relaxed him and let him relieve himself. My very unprofessional advice is to keep an close eye on your cat tonight and make sure he doesn't appear to get a lot worse. If not, seeing the vet tomorrow should be ok. If he seems to be in really bad shape and you have the means (24 hour clinics can be expensive), take him tonight. Hope I haven't scared you. I was really worried and it turned out to be a very easy fix, so hopefully things will work out.
hi, if he doesnt appear to have been hit by a car. you can try to palpate his body. by touching him gently. see if he feels pain when you touch him. it may be he ate something bad. or gotten in to it with a dog? hope he makes it and can go to the vet tomorrow. give him water if he will drink a little of it. so he wont get dehydrated. other than than just give him/her lots of kisses and petting to try and calm it.

Don't wait. Call up your vet even, someone have numbers on their answering machines for emergencies, this is one of them. It seriously sounds like someone has poisoned your cat. If your vet won't take the cat tonight call up another one that will because your cat has a good chance of dying. If you cannot get your cat to a vet you have to push fluids. You will be up all night doing this but you've got to do it.





You need to give at least 2-3 cups of water orally to the cat as well. To try and deactive whatever posion was given, try giving activated charcoal (mix 25-50 grams of powder with water toform a soup like slurry then administer 1 ml per pound of this mixture), milk (1-2 cups), egg whites (2 per pint of water), and or milk of magnesia (1 to 2 teaspoons mixed with water)





You've still got to get that cat to a vet
take the cat to your local vetrinary clinic

He probably just ate something really bad for him, chill! And if someone ';catnapped'; him why would he turn back up?

From my experience that sounds like wither he got into antifreeze, or someone poisoned him with antifreeze. Take to vet asap! Go to an emergency vet. He needs attention asap!
GET TO THE VET KNOW HE MAY HAVE ATE ANTI FREEZE OF POISON PEOPLE GIVE THEM IT AND THEY DIE GET TO THE VET NOW I DONT CARE WHAT TIME IT IS

he probaly has a uiranary trac infection if you donttake him to the vet there could be very sevare problems my cat almost past becus of that but we had 2 pay 6,00 dollars to ge him meds but he surrvied

He might of ate something he shouldn't have, while he was away from home.

just let ur cat outside at uncut grass area... cat recover itself by eating certain grass... hope ur cat get better..
