What is the cost of a train travel pass for a senior visiting England in September. Please advise?

Sort of depends on your needs. The more you travel, the more it will be. For a detailed description of the options available to you (with prices) see the British Rail pass section of the Rail Europe Website:

http://www.raileurope.com/us/rail/passes鈥?/a>

If you don't plan on too much train travel, you can always see if buying point to point tickets would actually be cheaper. For prices, check the UK National Rail website:

http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

Plug in the cities you will travel from/to and check out how much the single tickets will cost. Add those up and see which one comes out cheaper.

Once you know your itinerary, you can do a little research to see if you actually need the rail pass. For smaller point to point travels, you might be better off just buying single tickets, rather than a pass. What is the cost of a train travel pass for a senior visiting England in September. You've posted this in the London section. If you want a London travel ticket see http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/fares-tickets/鈥?/a> for details of cheap tickets for visitors.

If you are travelling throughout the UK work outcarefull how many days you will actually be travelling, because it maybe cheaperto just by the tickets you want. And see http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/promotions鈥?/a> and http://www.visitbritaindirect.com/en-us/鈥?/a> for info on rail travel pass offers.
